Ask Poops, Please

Putting my two cents in.

Born and bred in a small New England town, I am convinced that I know something about everything, and that my opinion matters. If only to me. Well, you'll see what I mean. And I love to knit, so you'll see what kind of things I'm doing when I should be vacuuming the living room.

Halloween Hijinks

And what a Halloween it was. One for the record books, I think. Here you see the girls in their costumes. This is the one I took before the party on Saturday that I couldn't upload then. Here it is now. The living room is a wreck--your eyes are not deceiving you. Emma had spent the better part of the day pulling out every toy she owned. It's not nearly that bad now. Then again, I've not been in the living room much this morning and she's been kind of quiet. I shudder to think what she's doing in there. I should probably check...

Yesterday was Chief Baboo's swearing-in ceremony. He made a nice speech and Sister pinned his badge on him. Here's the article from The Citizen...

Now, the free paper (The Sun--marvelous publication!) had a better picture and a better article all around, but alas, they're not online so you'll have to take my word for it.

Oh, and the pic on the front of the Sun? Yeah, Poops is in it! Poops, and Buggy, and Ma, and Dad and Grammie Bonnie...all in it. I'm a local celeb now. Dad said he's going to have an autograph signing from 2 to 3 this afternoon. I personally shall probably be on the couch by then.

I'm sicker than ever. I nearly hurled trying to get to the Mill for the swearing-in. Honestly, I thought I might have to pull over and toss cookies. But I'm not a puker, so it doesn't come easily and I spend a lot of time trying not to puke.

I made it through hurl-free.

But I still had to sit through Sister's Halloween party at Leavitt Park and I really just wanted to lay down on the couch.

All I want to do these days is lay down on the couch.

I want to lay down right now, and it's 10:30 in the morning.

HOLY CRAP! HOLD THE PHONE! WHAT'S THIS I SEE IN THE UPPER CORNER OF MY LACONIA DAILY SUN?

"NOW ON THE WEB!"

No shit, it really is. Here, here's the picture that I'm in! I'm the one snapping pics with Sister's camera while Baboo is sworn in. That's Ma right beside me, and Bug in front of me, and Dad and Bonnie are on the other side of Ann's head! Woot!

Linky poo here!

Oh, how exciting that my paper is now a PDF. I can die happy.

Aww! Look at the girls! Too cute!

And hey, how cool would it have been if you had tossed your cookies at the Halloween party at "Leavitt" Park? Get it? Leave it?

Oh it's the little stupid things that amuse me the most!

Oh, Poopsie, I totally know what you're going through. All my pregnancy books are full of lies because they say, "By this month, you should see a lessening of nausea..." It's utter crap. On the way back from dropping Max at school this morning, I actually beaned up in the street. I was so embarrassed. It seems to be getting worse, not better. NOTHING is working...aurgh!

Congrats on getting to sleep with the chief of police. Bet you could get away with anything now...

The girls are cute, and if you managed to get that mess under control... wow.

The woman in the picture's raised right hand looks like a creepy Halloween decoration.

I like how Yorkie says Beaned Up.

I see you I see you! My daughter is almost 2 and I'm still tired. The nausea is gone though. ;)
